
Lenovo launched its Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus smartphones in August and now finally the company is bringing the latter handsets in India. According to a dedicated page on Amazon India, the Moto G5S Plus will be launched in India on August 29 at 12 a.m and the smartphone will be sold through the website. In Europe, the value for the smartphone starts from 29 March (about 22,700).
It is not known that when the Moto G5S Plus goes on sale in India, the Amazon teaser will also mention the launch of the smartphone. To memorize, the Highlight feature of the Moto G5S Plus is its camera. This smartphone has a dual-camera setup with two 13 megapixel sensors, and an 8-megapixel front camera with wide angle lens and LED flash support. Another highlight feature on the handset uses the all-metal unibody design by the company. The Moto G5S can be launched on the other hand as an offline-alone smartphone, if the company continues its strategy for regular and 'plus' versions compared to the previous year in India.
In terms of specifications, the Moto G5S Plus runs Android 7.1 Nougat Out-the-Box and plays a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. It has been increased to an 2.0GHz by an octa-core quakecom snapdragon 625 SOC. The Moto G5S Plus has been made available in two RAM / storage options by the company, i.e. 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage. The storage on the Moto G5S Plus is more expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.
In terms of connectivity, Moto G5S Plus offers options including 4G LTE connectivity, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 3.5mm headphone jack. Regardless of the 'Plus' moniker, the smartphone keeps a 3000 mAh battery as a regular Moto G5S smartphone. However, the company claims that the TurboPower feature gives users 6 hours of power, as well as a 15 minute charge on Moto G5S Plus. The Moto G5S Plus also comes with the embedded fingerprint scanner in front-mount oval shaped home button. Moto G5S Plus was launched by the company in Chandra Gray and Blush Gold colors. In particular, the company has not announced anything about the launch of the regular Moto G5S edition.
Users can sign up with Amazon India to get notified about the device's launch and availability but further details are likely to be announced at the launch later this month.
